This 2-day workshop is an introduction to one of the core practices of Collective Transitions, Systemic Constellations. We will practice reading and sensing fields, one of the most crucial capacities needed for the work of stewarding collective change processes. We will explore the practice as a group and individually.
What is Systemic Constellations?
System Constellations creates a model of a particular system to reveal and transform hidden patterns that are often difficult to track, understand, and shift. Developed by Bert Hellinger, a German psychotherapist, and strongly informed by his experience with the Zulu people of Southern Africa, they originally focused on family systems to disclose the deeper forces and patterns that unknowingly influence our thoughts, behaviors and emotional experiences through multiple generations.
Over time this systemic approach has been applied to other human systems including organizations, our connection to nature, and larger issues in our communities and the world. Together Systemic Constellations approaches explore ways for understanding the interdependent relationships within a particular system and give us options to resolve our most complex and multi-generational struggles. We believe this is an essential practice for navigating complexity and creating conditions for healing to emerge.
